Brumma of the Blue Hollows

The Blue Hollows are known for quiet streams, smooth blue stone, and close-knit monster families. Brumma is rarely seen without the little one nestled safely in her arms. She believes every monster—no matter how big, small, or shy—deserves to feel safe enough to explore the world with wonder.

Artist’s Note

Each Floppy Ear Pottery monster begins as hand-rolled slabs of stoneware clay that is cut, shaped, textured, and assembled entirely by hand. I don't use molds, allowing the creature’s expression and personality to develop naturally I build it. Subtle variations in form, surface, and glaze are part of what makes this sculpture truly one of a kind.
